Visiting Faculty Required at Institute of Health Sciences, University of Peshawar


The University of Peshawar invites applications on the prescribed application form (Download Form) along with the relevant documents mentioned below, from Pakistani citizens for the position of Visiting Teachers in the Institute of Health Sciences for the Fall and Spring semesters of the 2024-25 session.

IMPORTANT INSTRUCTIONS:

Required Qualification:

  • First Class Master’s Degree (B-Grade), awarded after 16 years of education OR Second Class Master’s Degree with M.Phil or an equivalent degree awarded after 18 years of education, in the relevant field (mentioned below). 

Relevant fields (For core subjects) include:

  • Radiology Technology,
  • Cardiology Technology,
  • Surgical Technology,
  • Dental Technology,
  • Medical Laboratory Technology,
  • Emergency and Clinical Medicine Technology,
  • Optometry, Pharmacy, MBBS, BDS, Nursing. 

Relevant fields (For Non-core subjects):

  • English
  • Pak Study 

Additional Requirements:

  • No Third Division in the academic career. o Degrees must be from HEC-recognized universities/institutions.

Application Process:

Application Fee:

  • Deposit Rs. 500/- (non-refundable) in favor of the Treasurer, University of Peshawar at A/C No. 6290-3, National Bank, Campus Branch, University of Peshawar.

Documents Required:

  • Candidates are required to submit their application forms along with attested copies of all academic credentials, photocopies of CNIC, CV, Experience/ Service Certificate, and Photograph etc.

Submission Deadline:

  • The complete application form in soft form via email (ihs@uop.edu.pk) and hard form should reach to the Office of Focal Person, Institute of Health sciences (IHS), University of Peshawar on or before 11.12.2024 via courier or by hand.

Note:

  • In service candidate should apply through proper channel and submit NOC from their respective Departments/Institutions along with the application form.
  • Incomplete application form and those received after due date shall not be entertained.
  • Only shortlisted candidates will be called for an interview/ demonstration on 12-12-2024 at 10:00 AM in the main hall of the Institute of Health Sciences, University of Peshawar.
