English Literary Society, Jinnah College for Women arranged its annual inter-class declamation contest on 5^th November, 2024. Dr Anoosh Khan, Chairperson of the Gender Studies Department at University of Peshawar graced the occasion as a Chief Guest whereas Dr Sadia Nazeer, Head of the English Department from Benazeer Women University, and Ms Laila Hammad, Senior Cambridge teacher from Bloomfield Hall School assessed the contest as judges. The event unfolded with thought-provoking topics such as to be wise is to suffer, the only impossible journey is the one you never begin, and education has made a man educated but not civilized. All the participants articulated their perceptions through their rhetorical skills which were highly appreciated by the honorable chief guest. She also acknowledged the facilitation of the Principal, Dr Gulnaz Bano, and admired the collective efforts of the English faculty in meticulously organizing such endeavor. Towards the end, trophies and certificates were awarded to the winners and participants respectively. The contestants who clinched top three positions are as follows:

3. Meerab Rehman FSc I (I), 3^rd Position
