A significant meeting took place on July 10th, 2024, at the Business Incubation Center, University of Peshawar, to discuss potential collaboration between the university and the Institute of Business Development and Promotion (IBDP). The meeting, chaired by Mr. Saif Ullah, Manager ORIC, brought together key stakeholders, including Ms. Norin Shah, Manager Operation and Business, IBDP, KPEZDMC, Dr. Shakeel, Lecturer, University of Peshawar, and Afrasiyab Farooq, Project Manager, Business Incubation Center, University of Peshawar.

The attendees discussed various aspects of collaboration, including support for student and alumni startups and small businesses, promotion of production and manufacturing businesses, startup-related activities for student awareness, and idea pitching activities. The meeting concluded with a decision to draft and review a collaboration framework by both institutions and schedule introductory activities with students.

This potential partnership aims to foster innovation, entrepreneurship, and economic growth, benefiting both the university community and the business sector. The collaboration framework is expected to be finalized soon, paving the way for exciting initiatives and opportunities.
