Mr Zia-ur-Rahman, a PhD Scholar at the Department has successfully defended his thesis publicly on 13 August 2018. His thesis is titled "Nitrate and Fluoride Contamination in Soil and Drinking Water in District Mardan, Pakistan". His supervisor was Dr Bushra Khan and co-supervisor was Prof Dr Hizbullah Khan.
