Chinese delegation visits University of Peshawar
A delegation comprised of professors and scholars from China and Singapore visited University of Peshawar on 20th April 2018. The members of the delegation included Prof. Duan Qing, Peking University, Prof. Li Xiao, Renmin University of China, Mr. Zhou Zhibing, Deputy Director, China Cultural Relics Academy, Ms. Meng Sihui, the Palace Museum, Beijing, China, Ms. Chong-Yuan Chien, Member of Singapore National Arts Council Arts Advisory Panel, Singapore, Associate Prof. Zhang Jiamei, Peking University, Associate Prof. Fan Jingjing Peking University, Ren Chao, the Forbidden City Magazine, National Geography (China).
The visit was organized by Ministry of Foreign Affairs Government of Pakistan. Prof. Dr. Muhammad Abid Pro-Vice Chancellor welcomed the delegation and discussed areas of mutual cooperation. Prof. Dr. Zahid Anwar, Director China Study Centre who coordinated the visit briefly informed the delegation about the research and teaching activities of University of Peshawar and vision, mission & research of China Study Centre in a presentation. Dr. Zahid Gul Registrar, University of Peshawar appreciated the delegates for their visit to the University of Peshawar. After the meeting with Pro-Vice Chancellor the delegation visited China Study Centre, Pashtu Academy and Cultural Museum. The delegates reiterated strengthening of collaboration and praised the beautiful campus of the University of Peshawar.
