Prof. Dr. Bashir Ahmad, a meritorious professor and dean faculty of life and environmental sciences has nominated for the presidential award of pride of performance to be conferred on the Pakistan’s Day on 23rd March, 2018.

He has so far produced 28 Ph.Ds from his mother university in the field of Biotechnology and Microbiology. He has more than 160 ISI indexed publications and 40 indigenous HEC recognized papers. He has produced more than 50 M-Phil scholars. He has four patents and has written one book while having more than 1000 citations in the international journals.

He possessed research projects from Higher Education Commission, Islamabad (05), Directorate of Science & Technology, KPK (03) and Relief International (02) successfully completed while one project from Higher Education Commission, Islamabad worth Rs.8.0 Millions is in the process of completion.
