Peshawar: Dr. Bushra Khan an associate professor at the department of Environmental Sciences University of Peshawar has been honored for the Best University teacher award 2016.

She was given the award today at HEC auditorium Islamabad by education minister Eng. Muhammad Baligh Ur Rehman.

Dr. Bushra Khan attended Purdue University, first as a Fulbright pre-doctoral scholar and then as PhD scholar.

In 2009, she was the recipient of Joe L. White award for outstanding research in Environmental Soil Chemistry by Purdue University, USA. In 2003, she was also the recipient of US Fulbright pre-doctoral scholarship for research in environmental chemistry by US Education Foundation.
