Department of Social Work University of Peshawar in collaboration with HelpAge International and Community Research Development Organization (CRDO) with support of by German Federal Ministry of Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ) organized a seminar on “Stepping into the Future: Tapping the Talents, Contributions and participation of older persons in the Society” on 25th October, 2017 at the Department of Social Work, University of Peshawar.

Dr. Rasheed Khan, Chairman Social Work Department was the chief guest at the occasion; he welcomed the participants and congratulates the organizers. He highlighted the issues faced by older people association and emphasized that legislation for older people rights should have been enacted much earlier. It should be implemented as soon as possible so that older people can live a dignified life.
