Applications are invited from Pakistani Nationals, for appointment on the following two positions, under – Higher Education Commission project No. 6680 entitled “Study on biodegradation of polyethylene by microbial strains: a cost effective remedial approach with commercial prospects”, with the following terms and conditions.
Project Duties:
Candidate having good working experience related to the Biotechnology/Microbiology and expert in Laboratory analysis & extractions, report and manuscript writing will be preferred. Duties and responsibilities include assisting P.I & Co-PI for project work, working in both field and lab including Samples collection from field, Travelling to project sites, chemical analyses, preparing project report, writing new proposals, Presenting data and manuscript writing.

Research Assistant (01), M. Phil research scholar |
The eligible candidates should have strong academic background with 1st class or CGPA 3.0 in BS (Biotechnology/Microbiology) and enrolled in M. Phil at the University of Peshawar. Scholar enrolled in M. Phil/Ph. D will be given preference. |
The candidates are required to possess at least two first divisions and no third division in the academic career.
Project information: The project duration is 24 months. The above positions are purely on temporary basis. The incumbent will be required to sign a bond for entire duration of the project.
Contract duration: The initial appointment will be for six months, which will be extended for further six months based on the satisfactory performance of the applicant and availability of the funds from donor Agency.
