Positions Vacant: Research Fellow and Field Research Staff for HEC Project
Applications are invited from Pakistani Nationals, who are not married to a foreign national, for the appointment on the following two positions, under – Higher Education Commission project No. HEC/ACAD/TRGP/2017/000166, with the following terms and conditions.
Project Duties:
Candidate having good working experience related to the Environmental pollution, waste water analysis, Soil Chemistry analyses, Agriculture Sciences, Heavy metals & contaminants, Fish population, Laboratory analysis & extractions, report and manuscript writing will be preferred. Duties and responsibilities include assisting P.I & Co-PI for project work, working in both field and lab including Samples collection from River Kabul, Swat & other locations, Field days, Travelling to project sites, chemical analyses, preparing project report, writing new proposals, Presenting data and manuscript writing.

The eligible candidates should have strong academic background with 1st class or CGPA 3.0 in Master/BS (4- Years Degree) in Environmental Sciences or Soil & Environmental Sciences from any HEC recognized University. Students enrolled in M.Sc. (Hons) in Soil or Environmental Sciences, will be given preference. |

Field Research Staff (05) |
The eligible candidates should have strong academic background with 1st class or CGPA 3.0 till BS (3rd or 4th year) in Soil & Environmental Sciences enrolled in University of Peshawar or The University of Agriculture Peshawar. |
S.no 1 & 2: The candidates are required to posses at least two first divisions and no third division in the academic career.
Project information: The project duration is 12 months. The above positions are purely on temporary basis. The incumbent will be required to sign a bond for entire duration of the project.
Contract duration: The initial appointment will be for six months, which will be extended for further six months based on the satisfactory performance of the applicant and availability of the funds from donor Agency.
