Applications are invited from Pakistani Nationals, who are not married to a foreign national, for the appointment on the following two positions, under National Research Program for Universities – Higher Education Commission project No. 6676/KPK/NRPU/R&D/HEC/2016, with the following terms and conditions.
Project Duties:
Candidate having good working experience related to the Soil Chemistry analyses, Agriculture Sciences, Food Security, Soil sampling, CPEC locations, Laboratory analysis & extractions, report and manuscript writing will be preferred. Duties and responsibilities include assisting P.I & Co-PI for project work, working in both field and lab including Samples collection, Field days, Travelling to project sites, chemical analyses, preparing project report, writing new proposals, Presenting data and manuscript writing.

The eligible candidates should have strong academic background with 1st class or CGPA 3.0 in Master/BS (4- Years Degree) in Environmental Sciences or Soil & Environmental Sciences from any HEC recognized University. Students enrolled in M.Sc. (Hons) in Soil or Environmental Sciences, will be given preference. |

Research Assistant (01) |
The eligible candidates should have strong academic background with 1st class or CGPA 3.0 in Master/BS (4- Years Degree) & MSc (Hons) or Mphil in Soil & Environmental Sciences from any HEC recognized University. Students enrolled in PhD in Soil or Environmental Sciences, will be given preference. |
S.no 1 & 2: The candidates are required to posses at least two first divisions (one in M.Sc./B.Sc. (Hons) and no third division in the academic career.
Project information: The project duration is 36 months. The above positions are purely on temporary basis. The incumbent will be required to sign a bond for entire duration of the project.
Contract duration: The initial appointment will be for one year, which will be extended for further two years based on the satisfactory performance of the applicant and availability of the funds from donor Agency.
