International Conference on Crises in Syria & Iraq and Consequent Refugee Problem: Lessons from Pakistan was jointly organized by NUST & HSF at CIPS, NUST, Islamabad on 15th December 2016. Prof. Dr. Zahid Anwar of Political Science Department, University of Peshawar presented his paper on, “Pakistan`s Contributions to the Education of Afghan Refugees”. Many scholars, students, journalists, representatives of UNHCR & NGOs, practitioners and diplomats including Ambassadors of Syria and Nigeria participated in the conference. The participants acknowledged the rich experience of Pakistan related to refugees’ effective management. Major General Mazhar Saleem Khan (R) Principal NIPCONS concluded the conference with vote of thanks.
