Miss. Bakhtmina Zia, M.Phil. Scholar of the Department of Economics, University of Peshawar, successfully defended her thesis during a public defense on December 20^th, 2016. Her thesis is titled as “IMPACT OF DEFENSE EXPENDITURES ON ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT: EVIDENCE FROM DEVELOPING COUNTRIES”. She completed her research under the supervision of Dr. Sajjad Ahmad Jan, Assistant Professor of the Department of Economics, University of Peshawar. The public defense was attended by the external examiner Dr. Zahoor Khan, Assistant Professor of the Institute of Management Sciences (IMS) Peshawar along with the faculty and students of the Department of Economics, University of Peshawar.
