Materials Research Laboratory (MRL), Department of Physics, University of Peshawar wins the 1st and 2nd prizes in 2nd International Symposium on ‘Applied Materials & Nanodevices’ 14 – 16 November 2016 organized and hosted by National Institute of Lasers & Optronics, Islamabad, Pakistan.

The first prize was won by the poster titled “Processing, Device Fabrication and Electrical Characterization of LaMnO3 Nanofibers” by S. Shaheen Shah, K Hayat, M. Yousaf, S Ali, M. J Iqbal, M. Ali and Y Iqbal” and the 2nd prize was won by the poster titled “Electrical and Humidity sensing characteristics of La2CuO4 nanofibers” by F Niaz, K Hayat, S Ali, M. J Iqbal, M. Ali and Y Iqbal”.

In both the posters, the nanofibers were fabricated using indigenous equipment developed in the Materials Research Laboratory; therefore, the technical staff deserve enormous appreciation for their hard work.
