An International seminar on, “promoting the construction of CPEC to build a China-Pakistan Community of shared destiny” on 14th October, 2016 in CIIS, Beijing, China. Masood Khalid, Pakistan Ambassador to China in his speech said that CPEC is a flagship project of OBOR. Xu Jian, Vice-President of CIIS threw light on the broader scope of CPEC and deepening mutual understanding between China and Pakistan. Many Pakistan scholars including Prof. Dr. Zahid Anwar of University of Peshawar presented their papers in the seminar.  China Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) is a quantum jump to further strengthen China and Pakistan friendship which is already higher than Himalaya, deeper than Indian ocean, sweeter than honey. Accommodation of constructive domestic criticism regarding CPEC will help to win the hearts and minds of people across the board in Pakistan that approach will facilitate to spoil the efforts of those stereotype thinkers who look at CPEC in win-lose rather than win-win lenses. CPEC is a praiseworthy vision of the leaders of China and Pakistan which will open new avenues of economic opportunities, commonalities of interests and will economically stabilize the whole region.
