Applications are invited from Pakistani citizens on prescribed forms available from the Reception Counter of the University  of Peshawar OR the University website www.upesh.edu.pk/jobs.htm, for the following positions:

1.       Lecturer in Urban & Regional Planning (Two) (Contract, on emoluments of BPS-18)

Qualifications:

First Class BS (B-Grade) in City / Urban and Regional Planning OR equivalent Degree awarded after 16 years of education in the relevant field with no 3^rd division in the academic career, from an HEC recognized University / Institution.

Provided that the candidate holding higher degrees viz. M.Phil / Ph.D. or equivalent degree but with only one 3^rd division in the entire academic career shall also be eligible.

Provided further that benefit of higher degrees viz. M.Phil/Ph.D. or equivalent degree shall not be allowed to the candidates who are eligible on the basis of higher qualification.

Note: The candidate must be registered with the Pakistan Council of Architects and Town Planners (PCATP) as a Planner OR in possession of PCATP recognized BS degree in URP.

2.       CAD Instructor  (One) (Contract, on emoluments of BPS-11) Age Limit: 18-30 years

Qualifications:

Diploma in Associate Engineering (DAE) Civil from any Technical Board passed with at least 2^nd division OR Two years Draftsman course from any Technical Board with Certificate in AUTOCAD from any reputed institute.

Provided that the applicants must be expert user of latest version of AUTOCAD and other planning related software like 3D Civil, Eagle Point, 3D Max, Photoshop etc with at least 02 years relevant experience.

3.       Survey Instructor (One) (Contract, on emoluments of BPS-11) Age Limit: 18-30 years

Qualifications:

Diploma in Associate Engineering (DAE) Civil from any Technical Board passed with at least 2^nd division. Provided that the applicants must be expert user of latest equipment for land surveying including Total Station, EDM, Theodolite, all types of level machines and Global Positioning System (GPS) with at least 02 years relevant experience.

Screening test (written / Interview) of the eligible candidates will be held on the following schedule:

No separate call letters for screening test will be issued.

Candidates are required to submit their application forms alongwith photocopies of complete documents duly attested i.e. one recent passport size photograph, National Identity Card (NADRA), Educational Testimonials, Domicile and Experience / Service Certificates etc. with a Bank receipt / draft (non-refundable) of Rs.600/- for S.No.1 and Rs.400/- for the remaining positions in favour of the Treasurer, University of Peshawar and should reach the Meetings Section on or before 26^th January, 2015.

In-service candidates should apply through proper channel. They must submit No Objection Certificate (s) from their concerned departments/institutions along with the application forms.

Incomplete applications and those received after due date shall not be entertained.
