Applications are invited from Pakistani citizens on prescribed forms available from the Reception Counter OR the University website: www.upesh.edu.pk/jobs.htm, University of Peshawar, for the following positions:
1. Additional Registrar (BPS-19) (One) (Permanent)
Qualifications:
Ph.D. in the relevant field with 10 years relevant experience OR First Class Master’s Degree/LL.B or equivalent qualification from a recognized University with 13 years relevant experience in a University/ Government/ Autonomous/ Semi Autonomous Organization in BPS-17 or above with at least 5 years service in BPS-18. OR 2nd Division Master’s Degree/LL.B or equivalent qualification from a recognized University with 18 years relevant experience in a University / Government/ Autonomous/ Semi-Autonomous Organization in BPS-17 or above with at least 5 years service in BPS-18.
2. Additional Controller (BPS-19) (Two) (Permanent)
Qualifications:
Ph.D in the relevant field with 10 years relevant experience OR First Class Master’s Degree/LL.B or equivalent qualification from a recognized University with 13 years relevant experience in a University/ Government/ Autonomous/ Semi Autonomous Organization in BPS-17 or above with at least 5 years service in BPS-18. OR 2nd Division Master’s Degree/LL.B or equivalent qualification from a recognized University with 18 years relevant experience in a University / Government/ Autonomous/ Semi-Autonomous Organization in BPS-17 or above with at least 5 years service in BPS-18.
3. Manager IT, Centre for IT Services (One) (contract on emoluments of BPS-19)
Qualifications:
Ph.D. in Computer Science / IT / Electronics from an HEC recognized University / Institution with 10 years relevant experience OR M.S / M.Phil degree in Computer Science / IT / Electronics from an HEC recognized University / Institution with 13 years relevant experience.
4. Deputy Registrar (BPS-18) (Two) (Permanent)
Qualifications:
First Class Master’s Degree/ LL.B with 06 years experience in Teaching/ Administration in a University. OR Second Class Master’s Degree/ LL.B with 10 years Teaching/ Administration experience in BPS-16 or above in a University.
5. Deputy Treasurer (BPS-18) (Two) (Permanent)
Qualifications:
First Class M.Com/M.B.A/Chartered Accountant and 6 years service in BPS-16 or above in the relevant field. OR
Master’s Degree with 10 years experience in the relevant field.
6. Deputy Controller of Examinations (BPS-18) (Two) (Permanent)
Qualifications:
First Class Master’s Degree/ LL.B with 06 years experience in Teaching/ Administration/Examination in a University. OR Second Class Master’s Degree/ LL.B with 10 years Teaching/ Administration/Examination experience in BPS-16 or above in a University.
7. Assistant Professor (One) (TTS), Institute of Peace & Conflict Studies
Qualifications:
Ph.D/Relevant terminal qualification from a recognized institution.
Provided that he/she must be excellent in written communication and oral presentation skills.

Qualifications:
First Class Master's Degree (B-Grade) in the relevant discipline OR Second Class Master’s Degree with M.Phil in the relvant discipline or equivalent degree awarded after 16 years of education in the relevant field with no 3rd Division in the academic career, from an HEC recognized University / Institution, provided that in the subject of English, candidates having M.A. 2nd Division shall be eligible to apply.
Provided that the candidate holding higher degrees viz. M.Phil / Ph.D. or equivalent degree but with only one 3rd division in the entire academic career shall also be eligible.
Provided further that benefit of higher degrees viz. M.Phil/Ph.D. or equivalent degree shall not be allowed to the candidates who are eligible on the basis of higher qualification.
Screening test (written + demonstration) of the eligible candidates will be held on the following schedule:

No separate call letters for screening test will be issued.
Candidates are required to submit their application forms alongwith photocopies of complete documents duly attested i.e. one recent passport size photograph, National Identity Card (NADRA), Educational Testimonials, Domicile and Experience / Service Certificates etc. with a Bank receipt / draft (non-refundable) of Rs.600/- in favour of the Treasurer, University of Peshawar and should reach the Meetings Section on or before 20th January, 2015.
In-service candidates should apply through proper channel. They must submit No Objection Certificate (s) from their concerned departments/institutions along with the application forms.
Incomplete applications and those received after due date will not be entertained.
