One Day National Seminar on "China's Contributions to Peace in Afghanistan"
China and Afghanistan has cordial relations from the very beginning. The geo-economic significance of Afghanistan and impressive Chinese investments in that country underlines a desire by both countries to upgrade their relations and uphold economic cooperation.
For the constructive engagement in Afghanistan, China as a rising power in the region is playing a positive role for peace, stability and reconstruction. Given the convergence of interests in a variety of fields and the paramount considerations of economy and security, the relations between China and Afghanistan are destined to grow.
Pakistan has always supported collective efforts for regional peace and stability and has given tremendous sacrifices particularly for peace in Afghanistan. In this backdrop China Study Centre, University of Peshawar has organized a national seminar on, “China`s Contributions to Peace in Afghanistan” on 17th January 2019 at 9.30 am at China Study Centre, Third floor, Academic block II, University of Peshawar. Senior diplomats, field experts, professors, and journalists will explore different aspects of the main theme.
