The 8th HEC National Conference titled “Biodiversity Conservation in Pakistan: Challenges and Solutions" organized by Centre of Plant Biodiversity will held from July 8-10, 2018 at Bara Gali Summer Campus, University of Peshawar. This Conference will focus on current status and progress in the field of Biodiversity Conservation (both in-situ & ex-situ) in Pakistan with the following major themes/objective (Brochure attached).

This conference is aimed to focus on conservation of local gene pool, climate change and its effects on Biodiversity, new trends in the field of biodiversity, greening biodiversity, novel research in the field of biodiversity and Conservation and major challenges of Biodiversity Conservation in Pakistan. It is expected that more than 200 renowned scientists, conservationists, biodiversity conservation experts, scholars and students working in different specializations and organizations are expected to attend the conference.
