Talent Hunt Mela 2018

The Department of Art & Design, College of Home Economics, University of Peshawar is organizing a Talent Hunt Mela on February 27th 2018 to explore the hidden talent of the youth. In this event the Department aims to arrange art competition in following categories:

  1. Painting in mix media

  2. Drawing & Sketching in mix media

  3. Fresh Flower arrangement

Theme: Springtime

The College invites one female student competitor for each category of competition from the colleges and departments of the University of Peshawar.

Following are the rules & regulations of the competition:

  • It will be on-the-spot competition.
  • The theme of competition is ‘springtime’.
  • All the paintings, sketching and fresh flower arrangements should be based on the given theme.
  • Painting and sketching will be done in mix media.
  • The size of the painting and sketching must not be less than 16" X 20".
  • Time allowed to complete the project will be four (4) hours only.
  • Competitors will bring all the required material with themselves.
  • Certificates will be awarded to all the participants.
  • One art project will be selected as a “Best Art Project” in each category.
  • The decision of the judges will be considered as final.
  • Guests Institutes are requested to nominate only one participant for each category.
  • Every participant will pay registration fee rupees 250.
