Professional Photography Workshop

University of Peshawar Alumni Association (UOPAA) and Career Development Centre (CDC) has successfully conducted a series of workshops on the basics of photography in fourteen (14) Departments/Colleges/Institutes of the University for more than 350 current students An upgraded professional session is scheduled on Wednesday 17th May, 2017 from 11:00 AM to 03:00 PM in Video Conferencing Hall (Centre for IT Services) after which a Photo-walk to Old City Peshawar is planned on 18th May, 2017 from 09:00 AM to 01:00 PM. Around forty (40) participants from different Departments of the University will be participating in the photo-walk.  

Aim of this photo-walk is to provide an opportunity to the students, from multiple Departments and educational background, for practical use of their photography skills. Another very important objective of this activity is to promote the soft image of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa through photography in old city Peshawar and to bring awareness among the youth about the rich historical and cultural legacies of Peshawar city. A tentative plan is to showcase the photographs in an exhibition which is going to be held in University of Peshawar.
