Miss. Bakhtmina Zia, M.Phil. Scholar of the Department of Economics, successfully defended her thesis during a public defense on December 20th, 2016. Her thesis is titled as: IMPACT OF DEFENSE EXPENDITURES ON ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT: EVIDENCE FROM DEVELOPING COUNTRIES. She completed her research under the supervision of Dr. Sajjad Ahmad Jan, Assistant Professor, Department of Economics, University of Peshawar. The external examiner was Dr. Zahoor Khan, Assistant Professor, IMSciences Peshawar.
