World Wildlife Day 3rd March 2020
Peshawar zoo with the collaboration of art and design department and Peshawar University arranged Wild Life Art competition on 3rd March 2020at Peshawar Zoo selected Students and faculty participated in the Live Painting competition Director zoo Mr Iftikhar Zaman and co coordinator Mr Ghayoor khan assisted Mr Younas Masood Assistant Professor was in charge of the event later Hod Madam Farida Rasheed , Director Iftikhaar zaman , and Mr Younas Masood gave away the certificates

1st National Seminar on "Ghani Khan as an Artist"
The Department of Art & Design hosted a One-day 1st National Seminar on "Ghani Khan as an Artist" and a Photographic Exhibition of Ghani Khan's Painting on March 15,2017 in the SSAQ Museum of Archaeology & Ethnology, University of Peshawar. The Seminar was Syed Minhaj-ul-Hassan, Dean Faculty of Arts & Humanities the Chief Guest and Prof. Dr. Abaseen Yousafzai Chaired the Paper-reading Session. Over 100 rare photographs of Ghani Khan were put on display.
