Dr. Zakiullah is working as Assistant Professor at Department of Pharmacy, University of Peshawar. He has completed PharmD in Session 2006-07; and M.Phil in 2011 from the Department of Pharmacy, University of Peshawar. He did his PhD in 2014 from Department of Pharmacy, University of Peshawar, in field of Cancer Pharmacogenomics.
Dr. Zakiullah joined Department of Pharmacy, University of Peshawar in 2008. His current teaching activities include teaching the subject of “Pharmaceutical Management & Marketing”, and “Pharmaceutical Analysis” to the students of Final year and 3th Prof, respectively.; and teaching Post Graduate Courses to MPhil/PhD scholars.
He is HEC Approved PhD Supervisor as well as Interdisciplinary research training center approved supervisor (IRTC) Registration number 013-BI-22; MPhil/PhD scholars are working under his supervision. He is member of various administrative committees. He has earned 3 major Research Projects from HEC and Local Government Research bodies; and established a functional basic Pharmacogenomics Research Laboratory at the Department, where research students can easily work on different genomic aspects of various diseases. His current area of research interest is on the genomic of various Non-communicable diseases, such as Diabetes, cancer, Hypertension and Cardio-Vascular diseses, and his research students are working on various aspects of these diseases.
