Dr. Sajjad Ahmad

Ph.D in Sedimentology/Bio-sequence Stratigraphy

Research Interest:  My research focuses on the foraminiferal study of the Tertiary rocks of the Upper Indus Basin, Pakistan for understanding the zonal distribution of species for establishing more realistic biostratigraphic framework and integrating the ecological analysis for sequence stratigraphic characterization. I also work on microfacies analysis (carbonate) for paleoenviroemtal analysis and isotopic analysis (Bulk rock) to predict environmental change by establishing relationship between changes in isotopic signatures in local depositional signals.
