As an Assistant Professor at the University of Peshawar since 2009, I have spent over 15 years conducting teaching and research activities at national and international universities. In 2016, I was awarded a PhD degree in Computer Engineering with a specialization in artificial intelligence from Kyung Hee University, South Korea. My dissertation, titled “Accurate classifier selection methodology using multi-criteria decision making and meta-learning”, was recognized with the “Best PhD Thesis Award” the same year.
My research interests include various areas of artificial intelligence such as deep learning, machine learning, data mining, data science, decision support systems, recommender systems, and natural language processing. I have authored three books for undergraduate and master's level students in these fields.
I have published 36 journal articles with an accumulative impact factor of 123, 28 international conference papers, and hold a Korean patent. I have also completed and worked on more than 10 research projects in my areas of research interest at both national and international levels. Apart from this, I have wrote three books on the subjects computer science for grade 12, introduction to computer science and ICT and management information system.
In addition, I have worked as a Research Assistant at Kyung Hee University, South Korea for 4 years and as a Research Associate at the University of Maine, Le Mans, France for 6 months. I have presented my research papers at several national and international conferences, and was awarded the Best Paper Presentation Award at an international conference held in Toyama, Japan in 2018.
My citation index is 1386, H-index is 22, and i-10 index is 27. My research work is focused on developing accurate decision-making methodologies using advanced technologies to solve complex problems in various domains such as healthcare, business, education, cybersecurity, and the environment. I aim to advance the state-of-the-art in these fields and contribute to society by improving decision-making processes."
