Dr. Muhammad Kamran Khan has completed his PhD Degree from the Department of Electronics, University of Peshawar in Batch 2010-11, MS in Computer Science (Telecommunication Systems) in 2009 from Gandhara University Peshawar and M.Sc. electronics from the Department of electronics, university of Peshawar in 1999. Currently, he is working as assistant professor at the Department of electronics, university of Peshawar since December 2011. Previously he has worked as lecturer at the same department from March 2000 to December 2011.
He has also performed the responsibility of coordinator of the Institute of Physics & Electronics (Electronics Wing) for 6 years from August 2009 to August 2014. He has 12 publications in the reputable journals and six conference papers. His major research interest areas are "Renewable Energy", "Power Electronic Converters", "Opto-Electronics", "Optimization of engineering and Scientific problems”, and “Electronics Materials". He has supervised more than 50 MSc research projects / Thesis. He has successfully completed two research projects financed by DoST (Directorate of Science & Technology) government of KP, which is a great achievement.
