Fakhra Aziz obtained her Master of Science degree in Electronics from the University of Peshawar, Peshawar, Pakistan. She received her M.Phil. in Electronics from Quaid-e-Azam University, Islamabad, Pakistan. She completed her PhD degree in Engineering Sciences (Applied Physics), from Ghulam Ishaq Khan (GIK) Institute of Engineering Sciences and Technology, Topi, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Pakistan in 2012. She has worked as PhD visiting researcher at the Low Dimensional Materials Research Laboratory (LDMRC), Department of Physics, University of Malaya, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia in 2010. In 2016, she has completed her postdoctoral research from the University of Malaya, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. Currently, she is working as a Professor of Electronics and Principal Investigator of the Perovskite Solar Cells Laboratory at the Department of Electronics, University of Peshawar, Peshawar, Pakistan. Her research interests include semiconductor thin films, renewable energy, organic-inorganic hybrid nanocomposite based sensors and electronic/optoelectronic devices.
