UOP FACULTY PRESENTED PAPERS IN REGIONAL CONNECTIVITY CONFERENCE IN CHITRAL

Chitral Association for Education and Health (CAEH) and University of Chitral (UOCH) organized a one day conference on regional infrastructural connectivity, tourism and trade with focus on Chitral from 13 to 14 October 2018 at UOCH. Maulana Abdul Akber, MNA Chitral in his speech highlighted the significance tourism, trade, communication and moral values in the economic development of Chitral.  Maghfarat Shah, Nazim District Chitral talked about infrastructural linkages between Chitral and Central Asia via Wakhan. Prof Dr Fazalur Rehman Chairman URP, UOP presented his paper on, “National and International Tourism in Chitral”, and the presentation of Dr Ihsanullah, Geography Department UOP was focused on CPEC. Prof. Dr. Zahid Anwar, Director, China Study Centre, UOP presented his paper on, “CPEC, Tourism and Opportunities for Youth”. Shahzada Sirajul Mulk discussed hurdles in tourism development in Chitral. Prof Dr Badshah Munir Bukhari, PD, UOCH, Habibur Rehman and Bahar Ahmad of CAEH distributed shields among the paper presenters.
