Prof. Dr Zahid Anwar, Director, China Study Centre, University of Peshawar visited Pakistan Study Centre, Peking University and held a meeting with its Director Prof. Dr. TANG on 27th June 2018. It is a well-known Centre on Pakistan in China and helped a lot to strengthen friendly relations between the two countries. Peking University is the number 1 or 2 University in China ranking wise and one of the best in the world. Peking University was established in 1898 and it is a member of the elite C9 League. Prof Tang is a renowned Chinese scholar on Pakistan. The learned scholar was a mine of information on Pak-China Relations. He remained in Pakistan for many years and closely observed KKH construction. Prof. Tang welcomed the establishment of China Study Centre at the University of Peshawar, appreciated the efforts for academic collaboration and assured support to Professor Zahid in this connection.
