SIGNIFICANCE OF CPEC SEMINAR IN UNIVERSITY OF SWABI
A national seminar entitled “significance of CPEC” was organized by PCRS/Political Science Department, University of Swabi on 25th March 2019. Dr Sajid Hussain Assistant Professor of Political Science, University of Swabi delivered his presentation on significance of CPEC. Dr Ghulam Ahmad, Research Associate, CPEC Think Tank Islamabad delivered his speech on CPEC projects. Prof Dr Zahid Anwar, Director China Study Centre, University of Peshawar who was a guest of honour delivered his presentation on, “ BRI, CPEC: A case study of Swabi valley”. He discussed BRI, CPEC and further highlighted the significance of Swabi valley in the context of history, archaeology, Special Economic Zone, and promotion of Tourism. Prof. Dr Imtiaz Ali Khan, Vice Chancellor University of Swabi in his concluding speech thanked the distinguished scholars and large number of audience for their participation and taking keen interest in the theme of the seminar. In the end the honourable Vice-Chancellor distributed shields among the speakers and organizers of the seminar.
