Reunion of Department of Psychology, University of Peshawar

The Department of Psychology arranged its first ever alumni gathering on 29th March, 2014. In the then headship of Dr. Erum Irshad, Dr. Roomana Zeb, focal person for alumni, along with the help of the faculty and staff successfully conducted the program. The worthy Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Rasul Jan, Dr. Naeem-ur-Rehman Khattak, the then Dean Faculty of Social Sciences, University of Peshawar, and Prof. Dr. Syed Hussain Shaheed Soherwardi, Coordinator University of Peshawar Alumni Association (UOPAA), graced the occasion with their company. Dr. Mah Nazir Riaz, Dr. Mehar Bano, and Dr. Muhammad Jahanzeb Khan showed their love for the Department by taking time out of their busy schedule to attend the gathering. More than 250 participants attended the gathering and there was a strong appreciation from the students for arranging such kind of entertaining activities. Shields with a symbol of Psychology were presented to the former teachers in appreciation of the efforts in imparting education to the students of Psychology. An entertainment show presented to the alumni composed of skits, songs, and poetry, which the respected audience enjoyed and applauded a lot. The event concluded with the election of Mr. Rafi-ullah as President for alumni association of Psychology for a year.
