Reunion of College of Home Economics, University of Peshawar

College of Home Economics celebrated its 62 years of success and achievement on 15th April 2016, by holding a glorious alumni gathering. Around 300 alumni of the last six decades came to celebrate the growth and success of their prestigious Alma Mater. His Excellency Prof. Dr. Rasul Jan, Vice Chancellor, University of Peshawar, graced the occasion as a chief guest. Secretary Higher Education, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Mrs. Farah Hamid was Guest of Honor at the event.

This 14th alumni gathering gave an opportunity to its graduates to be a part of the Alumni Association of College of Home Economics, University of Peshawar. “Home Economics Alumni Scholarship” was also launched with the generous support of the senior alumni. This scholarship aims to bear the cost of tuition fees, transport and other related educational expenses of the most deserving and needy students.  

Prof. Dr. Kaniz Fatima Hiader, Principal, College of Home Economics, the honorable chief guest,   distinguished Guest of Honor, and Prof. Dr. Syed Hussain Shaheed Soherwordi, Coordinator, University of Peshawar Alumni Association (UOPAA), addressed  the gathering ,which was followed by  a lavish dinner and a variety show.
