Affiliation Section
Affiliation Section is responsible for all aspects of the affiliation of the Public and Private sector educational institutions and includes the following:
- Processing fresh application of the Public and Private Sector Educational Institutions, seeking affiliation with University of Peshawar in various disciplines;
- Correspondences with the concerned Colleges/Institutions regarding affiliation and maintaining its record;
- Collection of Inspection fee/Affiliation dues/Annual Affiliation Renewal Fee; correspondences with the institutions in the matter and maintaining its data.
- Conduction of Inspection of educational institutions seeking affiliation with the University;
- Conduction of surprise visit of the affiliated institutions.
- Suspension/Disaffiliation of the affiliated institutions;
- Conducts meeting of the Affiliation Committee;
- Processing applications for grant of No Objection Certificate (NOC) for affiliation with other Public Sector Universities within the territorial jurisdiction of the University of Peshawar and correspondence in the matter with the respective universities as well concerned institutions;
- Correspondence with affiliated colleges, Higher Education Regulatory Authority (HERA), Higher Education Department (HED) as well all other Provincial departments of Government of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, FBR and workers welfare board in the matter of affiliation;
- Correspondence with different departments of Federal Government, Higher Education Commission (HEC) Islamabad, Pakistan Bar Council, Pakistan Pharmacy Council, Pakistan Medical & Dental Council and Bureau of Statistics etc; and
- Any other task incidental to the above-stated responsibilities or assigned by the authorities.
